Proposals Evaluation Process at SLAC presentation by Carsten Hast and Mauro Pivi

News: 1st ESTB Users meeting, August 2012

The 1st ESTB User Meeting took place on Thursday August 23rd 2012 at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Menlo Park, California, USA, for discussions of the new electron test beam at SLAC. The test beam will provide the full range of electron energies up to 15 GeV, and intensities from single particles to 0.25 nC/ bunch, and will be useful for detector R&D and machine developments.

ESTB Optis files

A-line MAD files:

Aline.mad8

Aline_original.xsif

Aline_original_twiss.pdf

Note on MAD files: two optics files (.xsif and .mad8) and a .pdf file with 4 figures (2 for original A-line initial twiss values and 2 for LCLS initial twiss). Note that in figures the end point is the beginning of "wall", but he actual line in the deck has additional drift after the "wall". The .xsif file contains beamline description and the .mad8 file has the initial values and commands.
